Documentary Movie Nights
UofT MAV hosts documentary movie nights for interested student leaders, residence life staff, team captains, and any other community members interested in bringing attention to issues of hypermasculinity and violence.
The program for this informal and laid back event typically involves viewing a documentary movie while indulging in good food and peer-facilitated conversation, all within a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Documentary movies that UofT MAV has screened in the past include “Tough Guise 2” by Jackson Katz and “The Mask You Live In” by The Representation Project.
If you’re interested in coordinating a documentary movie night event, please contact Azher Siddiqui.
Please note, this program is primarily intended for male-identified community members, however, anyone interested in participating is welcome and encouraged to attend.
